BIO
“Rose’s ability to portray different themes and emotions through her intimate and evocative storytelling is truly impressive ”
Rose White is a Polish born and London based singer-songwriter that playfully mixes neo-soul with hints of pop and jazz. What stands out in her craft are the raspy vocals, previously compared to the likes of Joy Crookes, Paloma Faith and Olivia Dean as well as honest and often blunt writing that expresses truths in a charmingly relatable way. A perfect example of the above is her sophomore EP released in April this year titled 'A Night With A Sazerac' which Rose celebrated with not one, but two sold-out release parties in London.
Coming to London 9 years ago with nothing but £300 and two suitcases, Rose has successfully worked towards paving her way into the industry by playing numerous open-mics, support slots, small clubs to finally headlining bigger spaces with her band.
She's been shown support from Help Musicians Organisation, BBC Radio 1's Jodie Bryant, Wonderland Magazine, CLASH Magazine, Sofar Sounds Community, Global Soul and many more, supporting her craft.
If Duffy and Olivia Dean had a baby…
MY STORY
Raised in a musical household filled with Polish punk and international rock, teenage Rose listened a lot to The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Joy Division. Later musical discoveries included jazz greats like Nina Simone, soul legends James Brown and Stevie Wonder, as well as strong female voices of the early 2000s such as Christina Aquilera, Beyonce, Amy Winehouse and Annie Lennox. Remnants of all these influences, along with traces of RAYE, Jorja Smith and Joy Crookes, can still be found in Rose’s material, making it, as Rose puts it, sound a little bit like: “Imagine if Duffy and Olivia Dean had a baby.”
An ex ballroom dancer and law student, Rose built her whole musical existence from scratch on her own starting 9 years ago, when she moved to London on her own with £300, two suitcases, no job and no connections. Slowly, but surely, she penetrated the open mic circuit that led to first sold-out shows, collaboration and the release of her debut EP ‘One Fourth Mark’. In 2026, she followed this with sophomore EP ‘A Night With A Sazerac’ and shows in London, Brighton, Manchester, Milan, Amsterdam, Berlin, Poznan, Goa, Mumbai, Kochi and many more.
